Hoist the Carnival Flag!

Traditionally - for centuries in Liburnija masks take over on the feast of St. Anton, January the 17th and the Carnival folly begins. Dancing and singing, "kampanat&obahajat" until Ash Wednesday. The sound of Antonja's horn, hand over the town's key and hoisting of carnival flag mark the start of Carnival 2009. Opatija is ready!
