The Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia offered its support to the Conference, and a number of relevant international organizations and institutions such as IMO, REMPEC, EMSA, IOPC Funds, Cedre, ITOPF etc. also expressed their interest and confirmed their participation in it.

This year's Alpe Adria Championship brings together nine races. This weekend at the second race of the season is expected to be about 200 motorcyclists in six sports classes - 125 SP, 125 GP+250 SP4, SUPERSTOCK 600, SUPERSPORT, SUPERBIKE, SUPERSTOCK 1000 and five old- timer classes. Riders are coming from 12 countries and besides AAC, this championship is also the qualifying one for the finals of the European Championships in October and races are also scored for the Croatian national championship, championship of Austria and Slovenia and the championship of the Italian province of Veneto.

Thursday, the 6th of May, Villa Angiolina, starting at 20.30 there will be a concert of prominent Hungarian pianist László Baranyay, who will perform works of composers Ernő Dohnány, on the 50th anniversary of the composer's death. The concert is held under the patronage of Mayor of the City Ivo Dujmić and Hungarian Ambassador in Croatia dr Peter Györkös.
