The 7th Festival of Chakavian Chansons ČAnsonfest – Kastav 2011 will be held again this year, like in previous years, at the close of the 20th Kastav Summer of Culture, and will open on 26th August. Like in its four previous editions, the 7th ČAnsonfest will have both a production and competitive character, as the festival also stimulates the creations of new compositions. The best compositions entered in the competition of the 7th ČAnsonfest will compete for festival prizes and the prize fund: Award for Best Lyrics, Award for Best Composition– ČAnson, Award for Best Interpretation and Public’s Choice Award.
