Charity Concert for children whose parents recently died in a crash close to Rijeka will be held on 15.10. at 18 h at a small summer stage - Opatija. The concert organizer is a music school "Tarla" from Opatija. Support: Town Opatija, Zagreb-bank subsidiary of Opatija (bank employees), Zeta Music Center - Rijeka, Protect - Rijeka, and Drazen Turina - Šajeta who will lead the concert .

Organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" in Opatija from 13 October 2011. it is possible to view an exhibition of Croatian tourist poster.
Through artistic photographs are presented natural and cultural beauties of Croatian tourist destinations.
The exhibition can be visited until 26 October 2011.
6th International Congress "Flour-Bread '11" and the 8th Croatian Congress of Cereal Technologists "Brašno-Kruh '11." will take place in Opatija, Croatia from the 12th to 14th October 2011. As the former „Flour-Bread” congresses, the main aim of this congress is to feature the latest advances and technologies in milling, baking bread, pasta, cookies, cakes, breakfast foods, and others.
