Presentation of all mushroom types
Manifestation dedicated to the real autumn’s delicacy – the mushroom. Rich mushroom exhibition, presentations and expert guidance through all types of presented mushrooms, edible and poisonous. Educational workshops and lectures. Various meetings and competitions of the many mushroom picking societies from Istria, Croatian and neighboring countries. Tasting dishes with mushrooms on the menus of top restaurants, taverns and farmhouses in the area of Brtonigla.

Organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism Opatija, from 3rd November 2011. in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" you can see the exhibition by Matko Mijić "Table - while we waited."
Matko Mijić was born in Split 1955. He graduated at the School of Applied Arts in Split and 1981 at The Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade- the sculpture. He is a professor at the Art Academy in Split. The exhibition is open until 23 November 2011.
