Maritime and History Museum of Rijeka – WORLD CHRISTMAS CRECHES - an exhibition organized by the Museum of the Nativity of Betlehem
World Christmas Creches is an exhibition organized by International Museum “Childbirth in Betlehem” for the first time in Croatia after Paris, Verona, Lublin, Milan and Ljubljana. It consists 150 Nativity Scenes - from Italy, France, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Portugal to Africa, Latin America, Korea, China, and Japan.
The largest part of the material is collected by the public competition in which've participated artists from all over the world. Other part of the exhibits came from museums and private collections.
Seminary "Days of road and railroad" will be held on 21st and 22nd of November in Grand Hotel Adriatic.

After a great summer tour on the southern part of Croatia Vlatko Stefanovski Trio and a former member of cult progressive rock group Focus Jan Akkerman will have performances in the 6 th northern Croatian towns (including Rijeka) in November.
With this tour this 4 great musicians will present their album "Thunder From The Blue Sky ".
21st Congress of caterers and tourism workers is organised by Croatian Chamber of Crafts. It will be held on 17th and 18th of November in the Hotel 4 Opatijska cvijeta in Opatija , organized by the Guild of caterers and tourism workers of Croatia Crafts Association.
Crafts Association of Primorsko-Goranska županije is the host of this year's gathering.
During the Congress will be held exhibition of traditional dining hosted by caterers from Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
The exhibitions "Opatija caterers' gold medals" and "Chefs and their menus" are presented in beautiful ambient of Villa Angiolina. This is an oportunity to see all of the awards which Opatija caterers won on the prestigious catering competitions all over the world and european largest collection of "Cookbooks and menues" of Zlatko Puntijar. Exhibiton is organized by Croatian Museum of Turism.

In Opatija for the past 5 years ; from 16th until 21st of November are Days of Croatian cooking and 5th National cook championship. After 5 years of existence, Croatian Cook Union makes the foundation of National chef team and in this way accomplished the main goal from the 2003. The most important of a national team is promotion of Croatian gastronomy on international basics and competitions.

Racing area will be in Rijeka Bay (near Opatija).

Prizes will be assigned to the first three crews in each class and to the first three women crews in 470, Laser Radial i Laser 4.7 class.
Croatian Cultural Centre at Sušak, 13-14 November: EU Regulatory Network - Challenges and Opportunities for Croatia (Rijeka)
This conference, organised for the 5th anniversary of the ALMP, is of great importance for Croatia's application to EU membership. It targets scientific audiences and will include specific activities with a view to informing the full cross-section of stakeholders in Croatia.
The official language of the conference is English. Simultaneous translation will be provided during the keynote addresses only.
