March 31st 2009 - at 1:44 AM has been opened the virtual exhibition "Alchemy of Opatija" by Peter Kürschner on the portal www.opatija.net.
Exhibition can be seen every day from 0:00-24:00.
Petar Kürschner jr., freelance photographer, based in Opatija, Croatia, graduated in Munich SAE Institute in Germany.

Holy Mass in the Old Slavic will be held in the Church of St. Sebastian in Rijeka, starting at 17:00.
Although being a small building, the Church of St. Sebastian has a long history. As it was dedicated to St. Sebastian, the protector from the plague, it has a special place in annals of public health. Historians agree that the church was built as an oath following the plague at the end of the 13th century.
On Saturday,March 28th, at Platak will be held Adriatic slalom, the international FIS competition for skiers (M/F). The first slalom run for women skiers is scheduled at 9:00 am, while men should start at 9:45. Other rides are scheduled at 11:15, and exactly at noon. Entrance to the Adriatic Slalom is free.
