X-Men: Days of Future Past is a 2014 superhero film, based on the fictional X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics. The film was directed by Bryan Singer and acts as a sequel to both 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand and 2011's X-Men: First Class. The story inspired by the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline "Days of Future Past" by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, focuses on two time periods and Wolverine being send to 1973 to save the future of mutantkind. The film stars an ensemble cast, including Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. The story is written by Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, and Jane Goldman, with Kinberg writing the screenplay.

Croatian Museum of Tourism hosted the exhibition "Looking towards the Tatras - from Zakopane to Lovran'' in collaboration with the Department for Culture Zakopane to southern Poland.
The exhibition is a tribute to the artist Stanislaw Witkiewicz (1851 - 1915), an extraordinary painter, a great writer and creator of the single Zakopane Style, which is the period from 1904 to 1915 spent his last years in Lovran.

The 11th Wood Technology Conference will be organized in June 2nd-3th in Opatija (Croatia). National cultural and tourist campaign "Friends of the Sea" was initiated in 2009 by the Livingstone association and the company Astoria from Rijeka. The aim is to present the photography exhibition on large formats, open air, in 15 Croatian cities (every year from May to September), to Croatian public and to all the visitors, in order to draw attention to the role of photography in media culture and its social responsibility, and permanent value in promoting ecology and preservation of the Adriatic Sea. After the trilogy with themes of underwater, surface of the sea and essays on the Mediterranean, the fourth edition of this fascination exhibition presents valuable materials from the archives of museums, galleries, photo clubs and private collections.
