Winter in Opatija

Winter in Opatija combines a number of events and manifestations that will be held in Opatija from 01 December 2013 to 31 March 2014, in collaboration of Tourist Board Opatija, Opatija Festival and the Croatian Museum of Tourism:

Ice Magic and Christmas Fair

A special attraction in Opatija during the December is the ice skating rink located at the Open Air Theatre, which is magically transformed into a fantastic winter stage. With Christmas music in the background, surrounded by Christmas trees and wooden stands selling typical souvenirs, ice skating by the sea becomes a unique experience.

9th Potresujka traditional dance school

9th Potresujka traditional dance school is held in the Hangar under the expert guidance of Mr. Dean Jurdana, at term 18-20 hours. Price for 2 hours per person is HRK 25.

The exhibition "If suddenly arrives very hungry guest" (Ako znenada pride kruto lačan gost) is an artistic tribute to the writer, art historian and scholar Dr. Fucic (1920-1999), and its authors are Danijel Zezelj, Hrvoje Đukez and Stanislav Hajban.
