FFC Futures

Opatija will host all events from FFC Futures series during of 2014. year, In addition to to get young and talented fighters from all over Europe, as many as 80 per each event, martial arts fans will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by some of the most famous names from the world. A total of 12 matches will be held in the evening part of the program, which will go live across the world, and a major MMA fight of the evening will be between Stipe Bekavac and Eddie Sanchez.

Every year Lovran Wind Orchestra organizes and hosts several prominent orchestras from the Alps-Adriatic region, that gather on the first weekend in May to represent themselves, their region and country to local listeners and international guests staying at Liburnia.

5th IOM Opatija Cup 2014

Sailing Club Opatija, organizes IOM 2014 - Croatian Open Championship of radio-controlled boats. The regatta will be scored for Croatia criterion scale and Croatian Cup of clubs.

Start of the first race is scheduled for 26 April at 12.00.

On Thursday, April 24, starting at 17:00 will be ceremony at memorial park "Jama" Icici. Commemoration of the victims of the Liburnian areas killed at the end of World War II will be held at the site, and lay wreaths.
