On the Summer stage Opatija you can practice yoga every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6.45 to 8.45 in the morning. The organizer of this activity is Opatija Healthy City Office, conducted in collaboration with Festival Opatija and Association Olive. Instructor is Ivica Pađen.

Every first weekend in July, Opatija lives through jazz. Every year more than 4000 visitors from the entire Croatia, but even from other countries in the region, make their pilgrimage to the Liburnia Jazz Festival. According to the level of recognition, number of concerts and visitors, the Liburnia Jazz Festival, founded in 2001, is definitely the largest jazz festival in Croatia and the region. Besides the concerts of top world artists on the Summer Stage, the Festival's off-programme, the so called Street Jazz, is held on seven locations in the city from the early afternoon till the evening. Liburnia Jazz Festival can announce a total of 16 concerts on 6 stages in only 3 days.
