The exhibition Lungomare - 100th birthday, organized by the City of Opatija and the Croatian Museum of Tourism will be open in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" in Opatija on Wednesday, 29th of June 2011. at 19:30. You can visit the exhibition until 10th of July 2011, every day except Mondays from 9:00-13:00 and 17:00-22:00. FREE ENTRY.

Society OUR CHILDREN Opatija and Happy time center for children up to 15 years of age organize summer activities for children: Every day care from 27th of June till 03rd of September 2011., from 6.30 to 16.30, with the participation of parents.
The children will participate in various activities such as swimming from 9 to 11.30, games (hide&seek, pantomime...), art and pottery workshops, sports, magic hours, and a lot fun.

Opatija will for the second time host the Fireworks Festival . On Saturday, 25th of June, the sky above Opatija will again witness the spectacular creations of top Croatian fireworks designers .This year the audience will in just one evening be able to enjoy four spectacular fireworks, which will be launched at intervals of thirty minutes, from pontoons located on the sea infront Opatija Slatina. Audiences will be able to enjoy catering services and the entertainment program which will begin at 21:00 with the band Lady Luna.
