Comedian Željko Pervan is the special guest of Matulji summer evenings with stand up comedy "On the edge of Europe". Pervan will start performing in front of the of the municipal building Matulji at 21:00 h.

8th Carnival Food Festival

The Carnival Food Festival was initiated by the Matulji Tourism Office with the aim of promoting the entire Matulji region through a unique and interesting programme.
The festival provides a superb opportunity to enjoy many of the region’s traditional recipes and drinks, find out more about what’s on in the area, and participate in a variety of music, dance and carnival events, specially designed to emphasise the area’s rich carnival tradition. We cordially invite you to visit this festival and learn more about the local area, its people and their customs.

If you would like to learn how to do the traditional potresujka polka-dance, we invite you to take part in the dance lessons being held on the last three Saturdays in November and on the first three Saturdays in December, a great way to prepare for the forthcoming carnival season.
