Union of Anti-Fascist Fighters and Anti-Fascists of Kvarner County and Istria SABA organize on Učka ceremony of 69th anniversary of the renewal of the First Istrian Brigade Vladimir Gortan, as well as the memory of the first conference of the Circuit USAOH for the Rijeka and Istria. Numerous dignitaries and anti-fascists from both sides Učka host will be UABA of Opatija and Liburnia. The meeting will be held on the former premises of INA in Monday, 1.4.2013. at 11:00 am

On the occasion of the annexation of Istria, Rijeka, Zadar and the island to the Republic of Croatia, Kamenjak Mountaineering Club invites hikers and nature lovers on Sunday 16th September to 29th Memorial march to Učka. Gathering of hikers is on Poklon at 10:00, and the opening is at 10:30. The route: Poklon - Vojak - Poklon: about four hours walk. The entry fee for all participants is 10 kn.

Twenty-seventh climbers' meeting "Memorial march of Croatian mountain climbers on Učka", dedicated to the historic decision on the incorporation of Istria, Rijeka, Zadar and the islands to the homeland, will be held this weekend, Saturday and Sunday (18th and 19th of September) on Učka. Organized by Mountaineering Society "Kamenjak" from Rijeka, the memorial visitation offers traditional ninth night climb to Učka to commemorate the first night climb made by Avelino Čepulić on 1852.
