PLANNING STUDY OF BATHING RESORT SLATINA

At City Hall Opatija has been presented-space study of bathing resort "Slatina", about the proposed layout and contents spoke, Mayor Ivo Dujmic and architect Vladimir Delfar, who outlined the details of the proposed solutions. Regulating of multi-purpose central zone area of Slatina, City of Opatija gets a new urban quality, by expanding the promenade, so the new city facilities, contributes to better quality offer of bathing area and facilities.

Particularly interesting are the plans for the regulation of marine Slatina, where is anticipated a plateau stage for musicians and an amphitheater for spectators and a musical fountain of sea water, which would be located at sea, about 35 m away from the mainland, a distance approximately 100 meters.

"Such music fountain would make Opatija recognizable in the world tourist industry."
