International competition painter Mandrać decades represents the most valuable in art - the very act of creation, accomplished before the eyes of visitors and fellow artists. It is the "ex tempore" painting contest, in which works of art are created "on the spot" and that's why every year the ropes numerous artists and exudes an atmosphere of creativity. The event lasts two days - the first day images of children under 14 years, and one day gather their older colleagues, divided into amateur and professional group. The best works realized prizes, and the whole event concludes interesting concert performance on stage in Voloski port.

Topic of the Night of Museums 2016 is: the founders and reformers. Croatian Museum of Tourism has prepared a story about Paul Kupelwieser, the Austrian entrepreneur, who in the late 19th century, transformed the island of Brijuni. His great-nephew, Hans Kupelwieser, is one of the leading Austrian artists of today who specializes in painting, sculpture, installation and architecture, and experiments exchange media.

Opening of the Sinisa Majkus exhibition is also the opening of the first Matulji's gallery. Organizor and presenter is the art historian Vana Gović, curator of the Memorial Museum Lipa remembers.
After the opening, Galerijica will work every day from 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 hours, and on Saturdays from 10 to 12 hours.

Il concorso internazionale di pittura „Mandrać“ rappresenta ormai da decenni quello che di piu prezioso c'e nell'arte – lo stesso atto del creare, dinanzi agli occhi dei visitatori e dei colleghi artisti. Si tratta di un concorso „ex tempore“ nel quale le opere d'arte nascono „in situ“ e che per questo motivo ogni anno pullula di numerosi artisti che realizzano le loro opere dando vita a un'atmosfera creativa. La manifestazione dura due giorni – il primo e dedicato ai pittori fino ai 14 anni d'eta, mentre al secondo partecipano i colleghi piu grandi, divisi in due gruppi: amatori e professionisti. I lavori migliori vincono dei preziosi premi, mentre l'intero evento si chiude con un interessante concerto sul palcoscenico del porto di Volosko.

The old engines roared pleasantly, guiding us with the beauty of their advanced years into the warm summer nights. Every Tuesday during the summer, in front of the hotel Milenij, the Liburnia Classic Club from Opatija will await the guests with five historic vehicles to take them for a free 25-minute ride around Opatija. A sightseeing tour of sorts with the pleasure of riding in a historic vehicle that nowadays presents a rarity. The guests of Opatija may enjoy this offer in the period from 7:30 p.m. till 10 p.m.
