On Sunday, 7th February, in the Sportshall Gorovo, there will be international VII. Carnival mini handball tournament for boys and girls born 1999/2000., which will be attended by 30 women and 40 men's teams under the masks.
Organizers: HC Matulji 2001 and WHC Liburnija Opatija.
Traditional race of ball vearing vehicles - "Balinjerada", keep rolling 27th time in the row. Masked participants compete in categories of "monopatini" vehicles on two wheels, then in category "Karic", on three wheels, and "american vozići", imaginatively designed allegoric cars. Special body will award the best ones.
Start at 9 AM, "official" competition at 12 AM!
Mask dance with Dule&Bonaca at Caffe Imperial, Opatija.

2nd "Girandola" - Carnival parade in Opatija from Slatina to The Market will be held on Saturday, February 6th, from 4PM to 6PM along with gastro&music offer! Don't miss!
M. Tito Street will be closed to traffic until midnight from the turn for the Port of Opatija to Slatina .
The sixth in a row bike ride "Carnival Roads 2010th." Cycle pass through 23 km long route: Rukavac-Žnjidari-Zdemer-Zvoneće-Veli Brgud-Miklavija-Permani-Brajani-Principi-Rukavac.
Registration fee (lunch included): 30 kn, for masked bikers over the age of 15 kn
